The Fencing Club cultivates students' brave and tenacious will quality, resourceful and flexible judgment ability and persistent sports habits. Students can pass one year's activities, training and competitions, understand the basic knowledge of fencing, can be familiar with competition rules and referee methods, master the basic skills of fencing, and obtain 2 credits after passing the examination.
The club combines the characteristics of fencing, such as splitting, stabbing, pointing, lifting, cutting, wearing, picking, lifting and sweeping. It is committed to individualizing teaching contents and diversifying teaching forms, paying attention to intensive teaching and more practice, carrying out group teaching and graded assessment, so that students can enjoy fun in activities, improve their ability in training and gain friendship in competitions. -
The Fencing Club has 25 ordinary teaching teams and 2 high-level sports teams, which can undertake the training task of 200 people every year. The club now has a standardized fencing field, laying three standard Kendo, which provides good conditions for students to carry out fencing activities, training and competition. Fencing has become the most distinctive club project with its characteristics of lightness, agility and natural elegance, which is favored by students.

Zhang Ying, the instructor of Fencing Club, graduated from Guangzhou Institute of physical education. In 2001, she was selected as the national first-class referee and national athlete of Guangdong fencing team. She once represented the fencing team of Guangdong Province in the 11th National Games, the National Fencing championship and the National Fencing championship, won the championship many times. In 2010, she coached Shenzhen fencing team and led the team to win individual and group champions of men's epee in Guangdong Provincial Games and national individual and group champions of fencing.
Honor Moments
Since its establishment, the Fencing Club has participated in national, provincial and municipal fencing competitions for many times. In 2021, it won the third place in Men's Epee, the second place in Men's Epee Group and the third place in Women's Epee in the "Guojing sports Cup" Fencing Open.
